Jewellery Remodelling

I also offer jewellery remodelling/repurposing. If you have old jewellery that’s broken, doesn’t fit or simply isn’t your style, we can reuse your gold and gemstones to create the heirlooms of your dreams! With the current price of gold (ever increasing), there’s no better time to recycle your old gold and create something new. Jewellery deserves to be loved and worn - get in touch with me to start designing something special for you!

Here are some remodels from my workbench ⬇️

R’s Remodelled Rings

R sent her old bridal sets and some damaged family jewellery. We reused the gold and diamonds, and designed two beautiful modern rings to be passed down to her children.

Two handmade solid gold rings, made of recycled gold from old heirlooms, repurposed diamonds and Malaya and rhodolite garnets
Handmade solid 9 carat gold ring with modern shape, white diamonds, and an asscher cut teal sapphire

K’s ‘Forget Me Not’ Ring

“Dad bought a ring for my mum when she was pregnant with me. I had the garnets left over from melting other rings to make my engagement and wedding bands.

The design is Matariki Māori new year or Pleiades, the time he passed and when Paul proposed to me (some time ago).

The largest stone represents pohutukawa, to remember and honour those who have passed.

It’s all connected and pulsing on my finger!” - K

A special remodel for S

S had been passed down her Grandmother’s white gold and ruby ring. It wasn’t her size or style but she wanted to honour her special heirloom piece.

She sent it to me to be remodelled and modernised - adding pink sapphires and white topaz and creating a comtemporary but refined band.

Heirlooms to Share for A

When A’s Nana passed, her family found some old broken rings which hadn’t been worn for years. They decided to have them remade into pieces that could be shared amongst the family.

We recycled the gold and designed pendants which reused the garnets and diamonds.

R’ Redesigned Wedding Band

R’s wife’s wedding band had lost a stone, and needed a new lease on life. He came to a workshop with me and redesigned this incredible wave ring for his wife. We reused the two original diamonds, added a tanzanite and recycled the white gold. R decided to opt for rose gold as this is his wife’s preference.

How gorgeous and creative is this redesign!?
